The course covers a few miles and includes about a dozen obstacle "Muddy Moments" that require running, walking, crawling, wading, slipping, or sliding. Mud pits are stated to be no deeper than waist-deep. The event is not timed for competition and costumes are allowed. On-site services include a bag check for $5 (paid at the event) and a festival area with music and post-race activities. Spectators are admitted without charge.
