Muddy Dash - Austin
Muddy Dash in Austin takes place on May 16, 2026 at the Travis County Fair Grounds, 7311 Decker Ln., Austin, TX. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue on May 15 from 4pm to 8pm. There may be a cash only parking charge collected by the venue of up to $20.
The event features a course of a few miles with about a dozen mud obstacles. Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist high and the course requires running, walking, crawling, wading, slipping, or sliding through muddy sections. Timing and competition are not emphasized, and costumes are welcome.
Registration is offered in Value and VIP tiers. Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, post race party, and access to the mud obstacles. VIP registration includes those items plus VIP check-in, an event T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband. A Buy One & Give One program donates a free registration to a local community member for every registration purchased; partner organizations listed include Save the Children, UNICEF USA, Children International, World Vision, Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, Family Promise, Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and ChildFund.
On event day a bag check is available for a fee of $5. Waves and team registration options are used to group participants. Spectators may attend the festival area without charge.
