Muddy Dash Austin 2026 takes place at Travis County Fair Grounds in Austin, TX on May 16, 2026. The event stages a 5K course with obstacles, mud pits, slides, and roughly a dozen "Muddy Moments" that require running, walking, crawling, wading, slipping, or sliding. Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist deep. Costumes are welcome and the event emphasizes fun over competition or timing. Kids are welcome subject to event rules.
The event includes a Pre-Party with music, a DJ, dancing, and photo opportunities, and an After-Party at the finish area with a DJ, music, food trucks, and beer.
