Muddy Crudd's Ultra Trail Party
A running event along the banks of the Chattahoochee River in Valley, AL. This is the third year of the event and it includes multiple formats for timed and untimed participation.
Distances and formats:
- 12 hour timed event
- 6 hour timed event
- 5K trail-style course (3.1 miles)
- Ice Cream Mile with four frozen treats
The 12-hour and 6-hour formats include a full aid station and experienced volunteers to support participants during timed efforts. The 5K follows a 3.1 mile course along the river and is presented with a trail feel. The Ice Cream Mile requires runners to consume four frozen treats at quarter-mile intervals while completing one mile.
A 12-hour course record of 58 miles was set in 2024. A $100 cash prize is offered to the person who sets a new 12-hour course record.
This event is run as a no DNF format: completing one 5K loop before sundown will yield a recorded finish. Each finisher receives a unique finisher award. Overall male and female winners receive unique awards, which may include a loaf of Mama Crudd's homemade bread; the bread is not gluten free. Deadline to be guaranteed a shirt is 5/1/25.
