Mudder's Day Madness Mud Run

Mudder's Day Madness Mud Run is an obstacle event held at Montvale Springs. The first Mud Run at Montvale took place the day before Mother’s Day 2013. The event on May 8, 2027 is listed as the next scheduled Mud Run.

The event course uses rolling trails on a marked route and includes more than twenty obstacles plus a dip in the lake. Named obstacles include Adversity Hill, the Tire Traverse, and the A-Frame Climb. Runners aged eight and older are eligible to race independently or with a team. Costumes are encouraged and a prize may be awarded for the most creative costume.

Vendors, music, and refreshments are available onsite for participants and spectators. The site offers scenic views around the course. Proceeds from the event support Harmony Family Center’s therapeutic programming at Montvale Springs, including an equine therapy program and therapeutic camps for foster and adoptive children and families.
