Mudder's Day Madness Mud Run
The Mudder's Day Madness Mud Run is held at Montvale Springs. The first run at Montvale took place the day before Mother’s Day in 2013. The event is scheduled again on May 8, 2027.
The course features over twenty obstacles on rolling, marked trails and includes a dip in the lake. Named obstacles include Adversity Hill, the Tire Traverse, and the A-Frame Climb. Runners aged 8 and older may race independently or as part of a team. Costumes are encouraged and the most creative costume may receive an award. Vendors, music, and refreshments are onsite for participants and spectators, and the site offers notable views.
Event distances:
- 5K obstacle course on marked trails with a lake dip.
- Fun Run just over one mile for ages 4 and older, with several obstacles.
Funds raised support Harmony Family Center’s therapeutic programming at Montvale Springs, including the equine therapy program and therapeutic camps for foster and adoptive children and families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
