Mud Mountain Dam Marathon & Half Marathon

The marathon begins at Mud Mountain Dam (listed elevation about 1,400 feet) and follows a fully paved, net downhill route that passes farmland, neighborhoods, and forested areas before finishing in front of the historic McMillin Bridge. The course reports a net elevation loss of approximately 1,200 feet and is USATF certified. The half marathon starts in South Prairie (listed elevation about 467 feet), follows a gradual paved descent along the Foothills Rail Trail, and also finishes at the McMillin Bridge with a net elevation loss of about 339 feet.

Aid stations are placed roughly every two miles and provide water, electrolyte drink, gels, porta potties and basic first aid. Medical personnel are on course and at the finish. Event logistics include shuttle service from a designated parking location to the start areas, limited parking at the finish, gear check from start to finish, finisher medals, and tech shirts with a size guarantee deadline.
