About the race
The Freedom 50 is an ultrarunning event on May 29, 2027, in Puyallup, Washington. It is an out-and-back route largely on the paved Foothills Trail with short sections on the Puyallup Riverwalk and connecting shoulders or sidewalks. The start and finish are at Diamond Detail, 412 E Main Ave, Puyallup, WA 98372.

- 50 Mile out-and-back on the Foothills Trail, includes White River Bridge crossing
- 50K same paved course, 31 miles out-and-back toward South Prairie
The route features a very gradual incline on the outbound half and a gentle decline on the return. The 50 mile turnaround is at the Veterans Monument in Buckley Memorial Park, near 251 S River Rd at about mile 25. Aid station support differs by distance: the 50 mile course visits fully supported aid stations eight times plus the finish line, while the 50K has four supported stops. The event uses a 15 hour cutoff time.
Sponsors include Diamond Detail, Crossfit Puyallup, and Tacoma Trophy.
