Mud Mountain XXX 5K Classic and Mile Fun Run
Mud Mountain XXX is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at the SIUE Cross-Country Course in Edwardsville, IL. The event uses an NCAA certified cross country course that is run almost entirely on grass and is used by SIUE and Edwardsville High School teams. The organizers note that this is not a "mud" race.
The event includes a 5K race and a one mile fun run. Distances:

The event is organized by the Edwardsville Cross-Country and Track and Field Booster Club to raise funds for the 2025/2026 seasons. The booster club supports boys and girls cross country and track teams at Edwardsville High School, Liberty Middle School, and Lincoln Middle School, supporting over 500 athletes each year.
Parking will be at designated lots on University Drive on the SIUE campus, with shuttle buses to the cross country course. Only vehicles with handicapped plates may park at the course. Final parking directions will be provided before the event. T shirts and bib numbers are available for pickup at The Cyclery and Fitness Center, 2472 Troy Road in Edwardsville, IL, on Friday, July 24 during the stated pickup hours.
