MTC MizMal ® : event summary
The MTC MizMal ® is a fourteen day end to end running challenge across Ireland that forms part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge series. The full route covers approximately 612 miles with significant cumulative ascent and descent. The route follows the MizMal ® point to point route between Mizen Head and Malin Head, split into fourteen individual ultra stages. Each day is run as a separate ultra and awards its own bespoke medal; finishers receive a bespoke trophy plus the overall MizMal ® medal.

Logistics and rules are defined by the organiser. Entrant numbers are limited to 20. Maps and GPX files, tracking devices with SOS capability, and checkpoint food provision are available to entrants. Competitors must carry mandatory kit items and meet a minimum daily pace requirement for continued participation. Accommodation is provided by the organiser for the end of days one to twelve.
