MTC Green Skin overview
The MTC Green Skin is a one-day ultra running race listed for 16 July 2029. It is presented as part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge and is Day 7 of the MTC ALBION thirteen-day series. The route runs from Kidderminster through to Tewkesbury and follows the same course used by the organiser’s MTC JOGLE event but with reduced daily distances. The race distance is listed as 36 miles (route breakdown totals 35.5 miles).
Logistics and requirements
The event starts at The Talbot Hotel (DY14 8DQ) and finishes at The Tudor House Hotel (GL20 5BH). Checkpoints are listed at Great Witley (CP1, 9.7 miles), A443 Hallow (CP2, 7.9 miles, 17.6 miles total), and The Tything, Worcester (CP3, 8.3 miles, 25.9 miles total). Competitor numbers are limited to 20, with an additional allowance of 20 for ALBION entrants (maximum 40). Preset cut-offs require a minimum average of 4.0 mph; competitors who fall below this may be withdrawn. The race is cup-free so entrants must bring a reusable cup.
Mandatory kit includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, provided route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and emergency food. The organiser issues tracking devices with SOS function. Entry fees are listed as £90 for the ultra and £155 for a plus package that includes a race shirt and hi‑viz jacket if ordered at least four weeks before the event.
