Event Overview
The MTC Green Skin is a 36-mile ultra marathon. It is part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge series and takes place on a single day. The event is also Day 7 of the MTC Albion, a thirteen-day, multi-race end-to-end challenge of England.
Route and Details
The point-to-point route starts at The Talbot Hotel in Kidderminster and concludes at The Tudor House Hotel in Tewkesbury. It follows the same path as the organizer's longer JOGLE event. The course passes through several checkpoints, including Great Witley, Hallow, and The Tything in Worcester.
A minimum pace of 4 miles per hour is enforced, and participants falling below this may be withdrawn. The event has a strict competitor limit of 40 runners in total.
What's Included
All finishers receive a bespoke Green Skin medal. Male and female champions also receive a bespoke race trophy. An optional upgraded entry package includes an embroidered race shirt and a lightweight hi-viz jacket.
Participant Requirements
The event is cup-free, so participants must bring their own reusable cup. A mandatory kit list includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, and a basic first-aid kit. Maps and GPX files are provided to entrants prior to the event. Each competitor is also provided with a tracking device for live monitoring and safety.
