MTC Green Skin - Ultra Running
The MTC Green Skin is a one-day Mount to Coast ultra listed for 16 July 2029. The event is presented as part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series and serves as Day 7 of the MTC Albion thirteen-day end-to-end of England.
The route follows the same course used in the MTC JOGLE event but with shorter daily distances, running approximately 36 miles from the Talbot Hotel to the Tudor House Hotel. Check-points are placed along the route and sample food provisions include malt loaf, sandwiches, sweets, squash, cola and water. The race is cup-free and competitors must bring a reusable cup.
Entries are restricted to 20 race-only places plus an additional allowance of 20 Albion competitors, making a maximum of 40 starters. Entry options listed include a standard entry and a Plus Race Package that includes an embroidered race shirt and a hi-viz jacket; payments and deposits are non-refundable, with an optional personal cancellation insurance available at checkout. All finishers receive a Green Skin medal; male and female champions receive bespoke trophies.
Organisers enforce a minimum average pace of 4.0 mph with preset cut-off points; competitors who fall below this requirement may be withdrawn. Mandatory kit requirements include a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, provided route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and emergency food.
