MTC Green Skin

The MTC Green Skin is a single day ultra event introduced for 2029 and listed as the first edition. The route runs from the Talbot Hotel in Kidderminster to the Tudor House Hotel in Tewkesbury and follows the same corridor used by the MTC JOGLE event but with reduced daily distance. The listed total distance is 35.5 miles.

The race forms Day 7 of the MTC ALBION thirteen day end to end of England and is part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series. Competitor numbers are limited to 20 entries, with an additional allowance of 20 Albion competitors giving a maximum of 40 participants. All finishers receive a Green Skin medal and male and female champions receive bespoke trophies.

The event enforces mandatory kit and safety provisions. Competitors must carry items including a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, and basic first aid. URL provides a tracking device with an SOS function and maps or GPX files are issued to entrants approximately four weeks before the event. The race is cup free and competitors should bring a reusable cup.

Cut-off times and checkpoint closures are based on a minimum average speed of 4.0 miles per hour; falling below this minimum may result in withdrawal. Entry fees are non refundable; standard entry and an upgraded package including an embroidered shirt and hi-viz jacket are available for a higher fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
