MTC Green Skin

Event

The MTC Green Skin is a single-day ultra running event on Monday 19 July 2027, running from Kidderminster to Tewkesbury. The route follows the same course used by the MTC JOGLE event and forms Day 7 of the MTC ALBION thirteen-day end-to-end series. The event is listed as the 1st edition and the published total distance for the route is 35.5 miles.

Competitor numbers are limited to 20 entries for this race, with an additional allowance of 20 places for ALBION competitors (maximum 40). Entry options include a standard entry and a plus package priced at £155 that includes an embroidered race shirt and a lightweight hi-viz jacket; clothing in the plus package must be ordered at least four weeks before the event to guarantee supply. All deposits and payments are non refundable. Personal cancellation insurance is available as an option at booking.

Practical information

Start and finish locations are given as The Talbot Hotel (Kidderminster) and The Tudor House Hotel (Tewkesbury). Intermediate check points are recorded at approximately 9.7 miles (Great Witley), 17.6 miles (A443, Hallow) and 25.9 miles (The Tything, Worcester), with a published total of 35.5 miles.

The organiser sets minimum average pace requirements and preset cut-off points based on a 4.0 mph minimum; competitors who fall below this requirement may be withdrawn. Entrants must carry mandatory kit including a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and an emergency food pack. Maps and GPX files are provided only to entrants and are emailed about four weeks before the event. Competitors will be issued tracking devices with SOS capability.
