The MTC Aibell is a 27-mile ultra marathon held in Ireland, forming the final day (Day 14) of the Mount to Coast MizMal® End to End Challenge. Starting at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel in County Donegal, the race follows much of the MizMal® route and finishes at Malin Head, Ireland’s northernmost point. The course features approximately 1,699 feet of ascent and 1,545 feet of descent, demanding a minimum average pace of 4 mph to continue.
Limited to 40 runners, including MizMal® participants, the event offers bespoke medals and optional race apparel. Competitors navigate with provided maps and GPS, supported by checkpoints with refreshments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
