The Quadrathon Challenge
The Quadrathon Challenge is a four day Marathon and Half Marathon event held in Inishowen along the Wild Atlantic Way from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th August 2026. The event covers a total of 105 miles along coastal terrain with rugged and sometimes hilly sections, and routes on each of the four days.
Participants may run or walk, and can choose how many days to complete their distance. There are separate courses for full and half marathon distances. The course names listed by the organiser are WARRIOR for the full marathon and QUEST for the half marathon.
Entries are managed through the SiEntries system; entrants must log in or register with SiEntries to enter. Entries open on Thursday 28th August 2025 and close on Tuesday 28th July 2026. Entry fees are provided on the event website. The organiser offers an option to purchase XCover that may provide a refund if a participant cannot attend for unforeseen reasons.
Organised by Extreme North, the event describes coastal scenery and the sound of waves along the coastline as part of the route experience. A separate route is used on each day to cover the total distance across the peninsula. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
