The Quadrathon Challenge
The Quadrathon Challenge is a four day running event held along Inishowen on the Wild Atlantic Way. The event covers a total distance of 105 miles and offers separate routes on each day.
Participants may choose from the following options:
- Full Marathon run or walk
- Half Marathon run or walk
Runners can complete a chosen distance over one to four days. The course follows coastal roads and paths with varied terrain that is sometimes hilly and rugged. Organizers describe prominent coastal scenery and the sound of waves along the shoreline as features of the route.
The event includes a sequence of distinct daily courses rather than a single repeated loop. Entry periods were open from 28 August 2025 and closed on 2 August 2026 for that edition. The event provides information about terms, cancellation and refund policies, and an optional event protection product that may allow refunds under certain circumstances.
The Quadrathon is presented as a multi-day endurance format with both marathon and half marathon options, combining long distances with coastal terrain and a different route each day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
