The Quadrathon Challenge

The Quadrathon Challenge is a four day event of marathons and half marathons held along the Inishowen peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way. The route network covers a total of 105 miles of coastline and uses a separate route on each day.

Participants may run or walk full marathon or half marathon distances and may choose to complete the event over one to four days. The event lists two named courses: WARRIOR for the full marathon and QUEST for the half marathon. The terrain is coastal and rugged, and it is sometimes hilly; runners will pass coastal scenery with the sound of waves along parts of the route.

Event dates are Thursday 13 August to Sunday 16 August 2026. Entries open 28 August 2025 and close 28 July 2026. Entry fees are published on the event website. The event offers an optional XCover purchase that may allow a refund in certain circumstances, and it publishes terms, cancellation and refund policies.
