MRT 2026 2 Mile
The MRT 2026 2 Mile is a running event located at the Statesville Soccer Complex in Statesville, North Carolina. This race is open to all participants and features a central course within the sports facility. The event includes two primary categories:
- 2 Miles (Standard)
- 2 Miles (Youth)
This competition serves as one installment of the 2026 Championship Series, which consists of 15 scheduled races throughout the calendar year. Participants can accumulate points based on their finishing positions to qualify for series awards. Eligibility for the Series Championship requires completion of at least 10 races. Runners earn two points for participation, with higher point values awarded for top placements in overall, masters, and five-year age group categories.
Awards are presented nightly for overall winners, masters, and specific age groups. For those competing in the full series, prize money is available for the top five male and female championship winners. Additional points are awarded to individuals who complete more than 10 events, and those who finish all 15 races receive a registration credit for the following year.
