Living the Dream 5K Race
The Living the Dream 5K Race is the second annual community running event held in the Lake Norman area near Mooresville, North Carolina. The event features a single race distance of 3 Miles and is presented as a community gathering to honor the legacy of a long-serving coach and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) leader.
Proceeds from the event will support the expansion of FCA ministry efforts in the Lake Norman area, including efforts to raise new staff to meet regional needs. The organizer describes the event as a way to remember the coach’s multi-decade involvement with FCA and his long-term work as a teacher, wrestling coach, and advisor; the coach impacted hundreds of students over more than 30 years.
