Mrs. House's Kick Off to Summer
This event is a non-competitive 5K held on the Bath Cross Country Course in Bath, Michigan. The course event brings together students, families, school staff, and community members to mark the start of summer in a communal setting. The distance offered is 3.1 miles.
Participation is free for Bath students. General registration is free and available between 02/01/2026 and 05/22/2026. Proceeds from event shirt sales and from donations will support a memorial scholarship that will be awarded annually to one graduating senior from Bath and one graduating senior from Lansing Public Schools beginning with the next graduating class.
The event honors a longtime local teacher and mentor who taught in Lansing Public Schools and Bath and who helped coach programs that encouraged confidence and teamwork for young people.
