Event Details
The Move Your Mutt 5k Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Eaton County Fairgrounds in Charlotte, Michigan. The route includes Bennet Park.
Course and Participation
This is a 5k run and walk event. The course features mixed terrain, including dirt, grass, and paved sections. Participants are welcome to bring dogs; a maximum of two dogs per registrant is allowed, and they must be kept on a leash.
Registration and Fees
All registrations are processed online. The fee is $25 until April 12, 2026, then increases to $30 from April 13 to April 26, and finally to $35 from April 27 to May 2. Paid participants who register by April 19, 2026, receive a t-shirt in adult or youth sizes.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available at the Eaton County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 2, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Awards include a $25 gift card for the overall male and female winners, and medals for the top three finishers in various age categories. The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results available live after the event.
