Move Your Mutt 5k Run/Walk
The Move Your Mutt 5k Run/Walk is a community event in Charlotte, Michigan, held at the Eaton County Fairgrounds and including Bennet Park. The event raises funds for the Eaton County Dog Program, which supports youth in the Dog Project at the Eaton County Fair by providing training, education, and resources.
The course distance is 5k and features mixed terrain with dirt, grass, and paved sections. Dogs are welcome; each registrant may bring up to two dogs and all dogs must be on a leash. The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are posted live after the event.
Registration fees vary by date: $25 until April 12, $30 from April 13 to April 26, and $35 during the final registration period. All registrations must take place online. T-shirts are provided for paid participants who register by April 19, 2026, with adult sizes S to 2XL and youth sizes S to XL.
Awards include a $25 Playmakers gift card for the overall male and female winners and medals for the top three finishers in each listed age category: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up.
