About the race
The Move MGM Gobble Wobble is a community 5K run/walk held in Cloverdale, Montgomery on November 27, 2026. The event takes place near 3124 Cloverdale Road and is presented as a family-friendly opportunity for neighbors to move together and observe the season.
Registration for the 5K is free, and participants are encouraged to donate to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank to support local families. Registered participants receive a free Gobble Wobble shirt at packet pickup while supplies last, and additional participant perks such as photo stations and warm-up areas are provided.
The course runs through Cloverdale neighborhoods and is described as scenic, safe, and accessible, with volunteer support and fall scenery along the route. An adjacent vendor village features local health and wellness partners, fitness demonstrations, wellness screenings, nutrition samples, community resources, and healthy lifestyle giveaways. Past vendor partners have included local retailers and health providers.
Packet pickup is available in Cloverdale prior to race day and on race morning. The event has supported regional food security in prior years and recorded over 1,700 participants in 2025, with donations directed to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank.
