Mountain to Meadow Half Marathon
The Mountain to Meadow event offers a half marathon and a 10k race. The courses start and finish at the Lolo Pass Visitor’s Center on the Montana-Idaho border, running on gravel Forest Service roads at an elevation of 5,233 feet. The routes pass through flowering meadows and forests with views of the Bitterroot Mountains.

The half marathon has about 1,500 feet of climbing over 13.1 miles, mostly in the first half. The 10k course has about 300 feet of climbing. There are aid stations on both courses providing water, electrolytes, and snacks; the races are cupless. Parking at the venue is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
Participants receive a race tank top, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race BBQ featuring brats, salad, and beverages. The event features chip timing. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to age group winners. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted.
