Mountain Mother's Day 5K and Fun Run/Walk
Mountain Momma Maternity Support presents the 1st Annual Mother's Day 5K and Fun Run/Walk in Covington, Virginia. This community event is held to honor mothers while raising funds to support local families. The event is open to all participants, including runners and walkers.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 5K event is chip-timed, and participants who register by the specified April deadline are guaranteed a short-sleeved race shirt. Participants in the 1 Mile event may also purchase shirts for an additional cost. Children aged 10 and under can participate in the 5K for free when accompanied by a registered adult.
The event site features a yoga warm-up session before the start. Strollers and pets on a leash are permitted on the course. Following the races, there is an awards presentation for overall and age group winners in the 5K. The venue also hosts food trucks and various vendors. Mothers participating in the event receive a flower at the finish line.
Additional activities include a raffle for a gift basket. Participants can earn raffle tickets by donating baby items such as diapers, clothing, formula, or bath products.
