Mountain Fair 4 Miler : Carbondale, CO
The Mountain Fair 4 Miler is a road race in Carbondale that follows Prince Creek Road into town with a finish at Sopris Park. The course begins on Prince Creek Road about halfway between the "Bullpen" parking area and the winter gate, where pavement turns to dirt, then continues down to Highway 133 and into the town finish at Sopris Park.
Registration requires a fee and children under 12 may register without charge. The first 50 people to register receive a Mountain Fair T Shirt. Registration closes on Fri, Jul 24.
Event logistics note that shuttles operate from Sopris Park to the start and that there is no parking at the start location, though drop offs are allowed. Strollers are permitted on the shuttle and dogs are not allowed. All proceeds from the event go to Carbondale Arts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
