Mount Archer Trail Race : May 3, 2026

The Mount Archer Trail Race is held in Lyme, CT at 478 Hamburg Road on May 3, 2026. Registration is available online up to and including race day. Both races are chip timed with instant results and the event proceeds are donated to the Lyme Fire Department and the Lyme Ambulance Association, LLC.

Race options and course

9.2 miles - Moore Trail, full George and Rosemary Moore Trail Loop, run counterclockwise
3 miles - Sprint, loop on the northern side of Mount Archer

The 9.2-mile event is part of the USATF-CT Mountain/Trail/Ultra Series. Walkers and hikers are welcome in the 3-mile race; they must register and start behind runners.

Awards, logistics and extras

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance, and to the top two male and female finishers in each age group: 12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+. The event provides hydration stations on course and at the finish, free parking, volunteer support, and food and drinks after the race. A race T-shirt is reserved for the first 160 participants who register by April 17. The event will proceed in rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
