Mott Street Mile
Mott Street Mile is a one mile street race held in Chinatown, New York City. The course begins and finishes at 46 Mott Street and follows local streets including Oliver Street, Henry Street, Pike Street, East Broadway and Bowery.
The 1 mile event is run as a single heat for all ages. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in the M/F/X divisions. A separate kids dash is offered as an untimed event with awards for the top three finishers.
Event amenities include live online, email and text results. Personalized bibs are provided for participants who register at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup opens at 7:00 am at Transfiguration Church, with entry on 29 Mott Street. Participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self lookup area will be available. If someone registers within 24 hours of bib pickup they will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds or can use the bib lookup option.
The event benefits Run for Chinatown, an organization that hosts weekly runs and special events, spreads awareness and provides economic support to Asian and Pacific Islander communities in New York City, and collaborates with local organizations and youth programs.
