Mott Street Mile : Chinatown, New York
The Mott Street Mile is a one-mile road race in Chinatown, New York, based at 46 Mott Street. Registration is not yet open and previous editions are noted on the event page.
The course is a loop that starts and finishes at 46 Mott Street and follows Mott Street, Oliver Street, Henry Street, Pike Street, East Broadway, and Bowery before returning to Mott Street. The race includes a single heat of the 1 mile event for all ages and a separate Kids Dash that is untimed.
Listed amenities include live online, text, and email results, and a personalized bib for those registered at least three weeks in advance. Awards are given to the top three finishers in male, female, and nonbinary categories for the one mile, and to the top three in the Kids Dash.
Bib pickup is handled at Transfiguration Church, enter on 29 Mott Street. Runners must know their bib number to collect a bib; a Self Lookup area is available for those who do not know their number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of pickup, the bib number can be sent by text within about 90 seconds.
The event benefits Run for Chinatown, an organization that hosts runs and programs to support Asian and Pacific Islander communities in New York City.
