Mother's Day Classic - Canberra
The Mother's Day Classic in Canberra is a community walk and run held at Lennox Gardens in Acton with courses that loop along Commonwealth and Kings Avenue bridges and around Commonwealth Park. Distances offered include:

- 10 km
The event includes an Embrace & Honour walk that begins with a minute of silence to recognise people touched by breast or ovarian cancer. Drink stations are provided on course at about the 3 km mark for the 5 km route and at about the 3 km and 7 km marks for the 10 km route.
Event facilities at Lennox Gardens include an Event Village with food vendors, a community BBQ run by Lions Club Belconnen, and water refill options. Medal engraving is available onsite though it may involve wait times. A baggage storage area is provided; participants are advised not to leave valuables in storage.
The course is wheelchair and pram friendly. The event operates cashless payments using EFTPOS. Multiple nearby parking areas are listed and several bus stops serve the location. Dogs are not permitted. Entertainment in the village and on course includes MCs, a main stage with warm up activities and a DJ, acoustic musicians, cheer squads, and a Kids Zone with games and face painting.
