Mothers Day 5km in Hamilton
The Mothers Day 5km is a running event held at Gage Park in Hamilton, Ontario. The event takes place on a flat course consisting of loops around the park grounds located on Main Street East. Participants can choose to approach the race as a serious athletic effort or a casual outing to celebrate mothers.

The race features electronic chip timing for all participants. Every runner who completes the course receives a finishers medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to winners in five year age categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
Post race activities include hot food for participants and a variety of draw prizes. Registration discounts are offered for mothers and family members (sons, daughters, or husbands) when registering at the same time. The event is designed with a low cost entry fee structure.
