Mother-Lovin' 5K Run/Walk
The 14th annual Mother-Lovin' 5K Run/Walk takes place Sunday, May 10, 2026, with in-person activities at the Orenda Pavilion in Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York, and a virtual option for participants from anywhere. The event supports Kelly’s Angels, a nonprofit serving children in New York’s Capital Region who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer or other illness, or who are battling life-threatening conditions. Organizers expect more than 1,000 participants.
Event features include a 5K run/walk and a Kids' Fun Run for children ages 9 and under. An auction of donated prizes is held before the 5K, and local businesses provide complimentary treats. Awards are presented to top finishers across eight age groups.
Registration rates are $40 through May 9 and $45 for day of registration. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 1,000 registrants who sign up by April 21. A virtual participation option is available; virtual participants do not receive t-shirts. As an added benefit this year, Hoffman Car Wash is providing a free car wash to registered adults.
In-person packet pickup is available in advance on Saturday, May 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Orenda Pavilion. Day-of registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Orenda Pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
