Mother Lover 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is the first annual Mother's Day race held at The Market at Rutland Farms in Tifton, Georgia on May 9, 2026. The course is a trail run set off road through the countryside of Rutland Farms. Races include:
- 5K off road course through Rutland Farms countryside with wine tasting stations for participants 21 and older
- 1 Mile fun run and cake walk with cake tasting stations from the farm bakery
The 5K offers on-course wine sampling at several stations and the 1 mile course offers multiple cake tasting stations. Registration categories include adult and child entries, group registration options, and combined entries that cover both races; some options include wine tasting or nonalcoholic alternatives. Short sleeved event t-shirts are promised to registrants who register prior to May 1, with post‑registration shirts available while supplies last. Packets are available for pick-up the day before the event at The Market at Rutland Farms.
Strollers are allowed on the trail and jogging strollers are encouraged because of the terrain. Medals are awarded to the top two finishers in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
