ABAC Run for the Nurses
The ABAC Run for the Nurses is an annual athletic event held in Tifton, Georgia. The race takes place on the campus located at 2802 Moore Highway. This event serves as a benefit for the ABAC School of Nursing and Health Sciences, with proceeds going toward supporting education for future healthcare professionals.
Participants can choose between two main road race distances:
- 5K
- Half Marathon
In addition to the physical races, the event features a Wall of Honor. Participants and donors have the opportunity to submit photographs of nurses to be displayed in recognition of their service. Registration for both distances remains open until the day of the event, though pricing tiers change after March 12, 2026. The event organizers also provide a system for individual donations for those who wish to support the cause without participating in the run.
