Event Details

The Mossley 10K takes place on 19th July 2026 in Mossley, United Kingdom. The course is 10 kilometres long. The minimum age for participants is 15 years.

The Course

The race starts and finishes at Mossley AFC's Seel Park ground. It is described as an undulating and picturesque route that goes through Upper Mossley, Lower Mossley, and Greenfield, offering views of the countryside around Mossley and Saddleworth. The course has been accurately measured and uses chip timing. Finishing positions for trophies are decided on gun-time.

Registration

Entry fees are £18 for unaffiliated runners and £16 for registered members of a UK Athletics affiliated running club. To qualify for the cheaper fee, runners must provide their club name and UKA registration number.

For Participants

All finishers receive an official Mossley 10K medal and a goodie bag. Trophies are awarded to winning competitors in the main open age race and in 'Over 45, 55 & 60's' categories for both men and women. Presentations take place after the race in the clubhouse.

The event has been held annually since 2014. Spectators have 'Grandstand Views' from Seel Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
