Event Overview
MoRun London is a running event held at Richmond Park, with the event hub situated on the grass section near the East Sheen Gate. The event supports the Movember charity to raise awareness for men's health, including mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer. The course consists of hilly, tarmac paths and is open to dog runners, buggy runners, and wheelchair users.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 1.5 km (Mini MoRun)
- 5 km (One lap)
- 10 km (Two laps)
- 21.1 km (Four laps)
Participant Experience
All participants receive a race number with a timing chip, a dedicated headband, and a finisher medal. The event features a professional chip timing system that provides both gun times and net times, with results available immediately upon finishing. On-site facilities include a bag storage area next to the registration tents and toilets located at the entrance to East Sheen Gate.
The event includes a warm-up with music and a fancy dress competition for those wearing costumes. Along the course, marshals provide support and guidance. At the finish line, runners are provided with water, sweets, and other snacks. In addition to the standard finisher medals, bonus medals are awarded for categories such as best dressed and fastest finishers.
Location and Access
The event takes place at East Sheen Gate, Richmond Park (SW14 8BJ). Limited parking is available within the park, and organizers suggest parked vehicles may fill the space quickly.
