Morris Superhero Run : April 11, 2026 (tentative)
The GFWC-IL Morris Woman's Club presents the 11th annual Morris Superhero Run in downtown Morris, Illinois on April 11, 2026 (tentative date). The event starts and ends on the Grundy County Courthouse lawn and includes post-race awards and a superhero celebration.

- 5K
- Kids & EveryONE 1K
The 5K uses a certified course. The Kids & EveryONE 1K is mostly paved and described as suitable for adaptive bikes, strollers, and wheelchairs. Participants may walk, run, or use a stroller or stroller-like device.
Beneficiary and purpose
Proceeds for 2026 support a scholarship called the Heart of a Hero Award. The scholarship was created in memory of a young woman and will be awarded to student(s) who demonstrate empathy, acceptance, everyday kindness, compassion, resilience, and the courage to be true to themselves.
