Morgan Hill Freedom Run
The Morgan Hill Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026 in Morgan Hill, California. It is part of the city’s annual Freedom Fest, an all-day Independence Day celebration that includes a parade and other community events.
The road race follows a route through Morgan Hill’s historic, tree-lined downtown and finishes near 17575 Peak Ave. The event offers separate timed entries for adults and children.

Registration windows and fees are listed by event. For the 5K the fee is $45.00; for the Kids 1 Mile the fee is $25.00. Registration opens in March and closes in early June or July depending on the event.
Bib pickup is scheduled on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in the parking lot of the LDS church at 1790 E. Dunne Ave. A second pickup day is planned for July 2 or July 3 with time to be announced. There is also a morning bib pickup near the finish at 17575 Peak Ave.
Freedom Fest also presents a range of activities in downtown Morgan Hill and nearby venues, including a parade designated as the official 4th of July Parade of Santa Clara County, a Patriotic Sing, a Family Street Dance, a Freedom Car Cruise and Show, and an evening fireworks program called Fireworks on the Green.
