Moreau Half
The Moreau Half is a trail race held at Moreau Lake State Park, with start and finish at the park beach near 605 Old Saratoga Road in Gansevoort, NY. The course runs roughly 14 miles and includes about 2700 feet of elevation gain over winding, technical singletrack. The route will be fully marked. One aid station is located at Bonita Lake, about six miles into the race. There is no fee to enter the park, and parking is available near the beach.
The event description notes the course is not intended for beginners; most runners should expect to take about twice as long as their road half-marathon time on this terrain.
