Moreau Half
The Moreau Half is a trail race held at Moreau Lake State Park near Gansevoort, NY. The course starts and finishes at the park beach and runs across the park trail system, using mountain singletrack and technical trails. There is no park entry fee and parking is available near the beach.
The route covers roughly 14 miles with about 2700 feet of elevation gain. The course is winding and technical; most participants should expect substantially slower times than on a road half marathon. The course will be fully marked and there is one aid station at Bonita Lake, located about six miles into the race.
