Moreau Half
The Moreau Half is a trail half marathon held at Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort, NY, with staging at the park beach near 605 Old Saratoga Road. The event runs roughly 14 miles with about 2700 feet of elevation gain over winding, technical singletrack and mountain trail.
The course is fully marked and includes one aid station at Bonita Lake, located around 6 miles into the route. Most runners should expect to take approximately twice their road half marathon time on this terrain.
There is no fee to enter the park and parking is available near the beach. Entries submitted by October 18 are guaranteed a shirt. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 28 at 11:59 PM ET.
