Moreau Half
The Moreau Half is a trail half marathon event held at Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort, NY, with start and finish at the park beach. The course runs roughly 14 miles with about 2700 feet of elevation gain over winding, technical singletrack. The route will be fully marked and includes one aid station at Bonita Lake, located about 6 miles into the course.
Parking is available near the beach and there is no fee to enter the park. Organizers note the course is technical and not intended for beginners; many participants should expect substantially slower times than on road half marathons.
