Event information
The Moreau Half takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort, NY (605 Old Saratoga Road). Start and finish are at the park beach. There is no fee to enter the park and parking is available near the beach. Registration closes Thursday, October 30 at 11:59 PM ET. Sign-up by October 18 guarantees a shirt.
Course
The trail course runs roughly 14 miles with about 2700 feet of elevation gain through the Moreau Lake State Park trail system. The route is on winding, technical singletrack and will be fully marked. Organizers state the course is not intended for beginners and that most runners should expect to take about twice their road half-marathon time. One aid station is located at Bonita Lake, about 6 miles into the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
