Moraine Regatta 5K - Moraine State Park
The Moraine Regatta 5K is a timed running event held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Moraine State Park near Lake Arthur in Portersville, PA. The course was updated for 2026 and begins at the Pleasant Valley Beach area parking lot, proceeds onto the Sunken Garden Trail for lake views, and returns toward the main regatta area. The 5K combines road and trail surfaces.
Parking is available at Pleasant Valley Beach, South Shore Parking; parking is free and attendees are directed to the main Pleasant Valley Beach parking lot.
Registration opens January 29, 2026. Fees vary by registration period and age: before May 1 fees are $10 for ages 17 and under and $20 for ages 18 and over; May 2 through July 1 fees are $15 and $25 respectively; July 2 through July 26 fees are $20 and $30; July 27 through August 2 fees are $30 and $35. Early registrants are eligible for a commemorative 2026 t-shirt with guaranteed sizes for registrations completed by July 1; after that date shirts are first-come, first-served while supplies last. Race-day registration is available.
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in these age brackets: 17 and under; 18–29; 30–45; 46–60; and 61 and over. The 5K is presented as part of the annual Moraine State Park Regatta, which includes local vendors, water sports, and nature-themed activities.
