Moore Mountain Trail Run takes place at Moore Park in Klamath Falls, OR. The event offers three distance options:
- 30K
- 1/2 Marathon
- 5K
The courses are reported to be more than 90% high quality single track and include views of Upper Klamath Lake and Mt. Shasta. The 5K is described as technically interesting with minimal elevation gain. Aid stations are provided on the 1/2 marathon and 30K courses and there are no aid stations on the 5K. Aid station supplies include chips, soda, and NUUN tablets.
The event is organized by the Linkville Lopers, a non profit group. Races are volunteer powered and all profits remain in the local community. The organization donates to Klamath Trails Alliance, Friends of Moore Park, the City of Klamath Falls, and other local outdoor recreation causes. Entry fees are kept low and the race emphasizes community support over race merchandise.
Registration for the event closes on September 24, 2026. The organizer does not offer refunds or transfers on registrations, but will offer rollovers if the race is canceled due to smoke.
