Oregon Tech Twilight Fun Run
The Oregon Tech Twilight Fun Run is hosted by Oregon Tech Wellbeing in collaboration with the Student Veterans Program and is held as part of community Memorial Day events to honor fallen veterans. The event takes place at Eulalona Park (formerly known as Kit Carson Park) in Klamath Falls and proceeds around the Oregon Tech campus.
The route begins at Eulalona Park, follows the trail parallel to Crater Lake Parkway, continues to El Dorado, goes up Daggett, then turns right on Bryant Williams Way and circles the campus. Participants have two route options:
- 5k (3.16 miles) full loop around campus
- 1.5 miles direct finish into Moehl Stadium
Professional timing is provided by Athletic Timing using chipped custom bibs. At the finish, participants may choose a colored chalk finish or a chalk-free experience. Food trucks will be located between the stadium and the Athletics Building. A closing awards ceremony will recognize top overall finishers and age-group winners.
Registration fees cover participation, a t-shirt, and one meal ticket to the food trucks. Students and children up to 18 may register at no cost. The route is paved and intended for walkers and runners. Pets are not allowed except for registered service animals. Volunteers will be placed along the course and Klamath Falls police will assist with traffic control. Volunteers receive an event shirt and a food truck ticket.
