The Moonlight 5K and Twilight Kids Run presented by Brooks takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Bel Air, Maryland at the Harford County Equestrian Center (608 N Tollgate Road). The event includes the following distances and options:

  • 5K Run
  • Twilight Kids Run - roughly 0.6 miles

The event is organized by Charm City Run Events.

Course, amenities and logistics

The 5K starts on the Equestrian Center grounds, loops around a former duck pond, and includes an out-and-back section toward Annie's Playground. Paths are mostly paved with some boardwalks and a short gravel section. There is a water stop near Mile 1 that is passed again near Mile 2.5. Participants are asked to stay to the right on the course; boardwalks may be slippery in wet conditions. Course is subject to change.

5K participants receive a race bib with chip timing, a finisher medal, two glow sticks, a Brooks tech shirt, and post-race food and drink (one complimentary beer for registrants age 21+ or Kona Ice). Twilight Kids Run participants receive a bib, chip-timed results, two glow sticks, a finisher ribbon, and a Kona Ice coupon. Awards include top three overall male, female and non-binary finishers and top three male and female finishers in listed age groups. Packet pickup is available Friday, July 10 and on race day at the venue. Parking is available in the Equestrian Center grass lots.

Virtual entrants can pick up swag or have it mailed; virtual results must be submitted by July 12, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
