The route runs through the Washington Park Arboretum. Trails may be muddy and have damp plant debris. Dogs are not allowed for safety and insurance reasons. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the race corral; a stroller suitable for varied path surfaces is recommended and passengers should be secured. Packet pickup is offered on dates before the event and on race day. Public transit access is available via King County Metro routes 48 and 43 to the Montlake area. Designated parking options include a participant lot at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and several Arboretum parking areas; E Lynn St and 25th Ave E will have race-day closures in specified segments.
