Montclair Run
The 43rd Annual Montclair Run is organized by the YMCA of Montclair and takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026. All events start and end at the YMCA of Montclair, 25 Park Street, Montclair. The event typically attracts runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators from Essex County and beyond.
The program includes two race options:
- 10K Grand Prix Run (USATF sanctioned, chip timed, fast and flat course through two scenic parks)
- 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk (chip timed)
Both races use chip timing. Popular performance shirts and finisher medals are provided while supplies last. Free race photography is provided. Awards for the 10K and 2 mile are presented at the finish line.
Entry fees are listed separately for adults and youth and increase on race day. A $5 pre-registration discount is available to USATF-NJ members. Packet pick-up occurs at the YMCA of Montclair on the days prior to the race, with additional race-day pick-up and registration available.
All proceeds benefit the Y's Community Health Program Fund to support children, families, and seniors in the local community. Volunteers, including students and seniors, help operate the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
