About the race
The Montane Delamere Forest Trail 10K & Half Marathon is a trail running event set in Delamere Forest in Cheshire, with routes on wide woodland tracks and natural trail sections. The course passes through quiet woodland, open forest clearings and flowing trail sections beneath the forest canopy, and finishes with a climb up Old Pale.

Entries include electronic timing, online results and a custom finishers medal. The event provides aid stations, course support, fully signed routes, music at key points, and free photos and video. Parking is at Delamere Forest Main Visitor Centre; parking fees apply. The event base is Delamere Visitor Centre, Station Road, Delamere Forest, CW8 2JE.
The title sponsor is Montane, which supports the event and provides trail running clothing and equipment. Volunteers are requested to support event operations. Dogs are not permitted to take part in the race but may be present as supporters at the start and finish areas when well behaved. There is an overall race cut off for the Trail 13 event of 3.5 hours from race start.
