About the race
The Montane Delamere Trail is a forest trail running event on 24 January 2027 at Delamere Visitor Centre, Station Road, Delamere Forest, CW8 2JE. The event offers two distances:
- 10k
- Half Marathon
The courses run mainly on wide forest trails with a few single file track sections. The route is described as relatively flat with few undulations, but includes a notable climb of Old Pale in the final miles where there is a view from the top.
Entry details state discounted prices for the first 100 entries and higher general entry fees thereafter. Prices listed are Discounted Entry 10k £32 and Half Marathon £39, General Entry 10k £34 and Half Marathon £42. Entrants must be at least 16 years old on race day. Entries close when the event is full or on the Friday before race day at 12 noon.
Included with entry are a bespoke finisher’s medal, electronic timing, and event photographs available to download free from the event photographer. Dogs are not permitted to take part in the race but are allowed as supporters at the start and finish areas if well behaved. There is an overall cut off for the Trail 13 event of 3.5 hours from the race start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
