Monster Mash Dash : October 4, 2025, Lorain, OH
The Monster Mash Dash is a community race held in downtown Lorain that benefits Main Street Lorain, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The event starts at Scorcher's Casual Eatery & Draft House, 900 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052. Costumes are encouraged and dogs are welcome; there is an award for the best dressed dog. Participants receive a custom race shirt and post-race refreshments.

Distances:
- 5K Run (chip timed)
- 1 Mile Walk (dog-friendly)
- 100 Yard Dash (kids 10 and younger)
Registration notes: early bird entry for the 5K and 1 Mile is $25 through September 15, 2025; entry is $35 on race day. The Mini Monster Mash Dash fee is $10 through race morning. Packet pickup is available Friday, October 3, 2025, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Scorcher's and there is day-of registration on race morning. Mailed entries must be received by Tuesday, September 30, 2025; paper registration checks are payable to Run The Land. Awards include top three overall finishers for male, female and non-binary, age group awards, a best costume award, and goodie bags for Mini Monster Mash Dash participants.
