Event Overview
The Monster Mash Dash and Zombie Zoom takes place on October 31st at Lake Yosemite in Merced, California. This Halloween-themed event includes multiple distances held at Rotary Cove 1. The event features a specialized run for children followed by longer timed races for older participants.
Race Distances
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 400 m Zombie Zoom for children aged 10 and under
- 5K Monster Dash timed run
- 10K Monster Dash timed run
Course Experience
The 5K and 10K courses include a thematic element where high school students dressed in monster costumes are positioned to chase and scare runners. Participants have the option to opt out of the chasing element if they prefer a standard race experience. Costumes are encouraged for all attendees.
Awards
