Monster Mash Dash 5K in Pinehurst
The Monster Mash Dash 5K takes place on October 31, 2026, at Cannon Park Community Center, 210 Rattlesnake Trail, Pinehurst, NC 28374, US. The event includes the following distances:

The course runs through the Village of Pinehurst and is described as family friendly. Costumes are encouraged and all ages are welcome. Participants receive a custom race shirt and a post-race treat bag.
Medals will be awarded for Overall Female, Overall Male, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in age groups: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+.
The event supports Special Olympics Moore County. Proceeds will help fund training facilities, uniforms, awards, equipment, transportation, and coaches' education for athletes. Athletes in North Carolina are not charged any fee to participate in Special Olympics.
