Monster Mash & Dash 5K Glow Run, Lexington
The Monster Mash & Dash 5K Glow Run is a community running and walking event held at Coldstream Dog Park/Legacy Trail in Lexington, Kentucky. The event features a chip timed 5K on paved trail surfaces, an untimed 1 mile fun walk, a kids dash for children nine and under, and a virtual participation option. Awards are provided for the 5K with Top 3 male and female overall placings and Top 3 male and female in five year age divisions. Walkers, strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes are welcomed on the course.

Additional event features include commemorative unisex T-shirts, free race photos, an awards ceremony followed by a trunk or treat, and organized social teams with a prize for the largest team. Packet pickup is available at the race venue on race day. Organizers request several volunteers to work race day shifts. Proceeds support Recovery Cafe Lexington and fund direct services including the School for Recovery Learning Programs, weekend life enrichment retreats, sober social events, and direct financial assistance to program participants.
