The Monster Mash & Dash 5K Glow Run takes place on October 9, 2026, at Coldstream Research Park in Lexington, KY (Coldstream Dog Park / Legacy Trail, 1850 Pisacano Drive, 40511). This is the fourth annual running of the event.

Event details
The course is described as scenic and flat. The race offers commemorative unisex T-shirts (poly/cotton blend, adult sizes S–3XL while supplies last) and both overall and age-group awards in five-year divisions. Dress-up is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best costumes. The event features music, food, and social teams with a prize for the largest team. Free race photos are provided by Paul Martin Photography. A 5K route map is available. The only packet pickup location is at Coldstream Dog Park (race venue).
Beneficiary and purpose
Proceeds support Recovery Cafe Lexington. The event will fund direct services including School for Recovery Learning programs, weekend life-enrichment retreats, sober-social events, and direct financial assistance for program participants. Recovery Cafe Lexington is described as a peer-led, peer-run community space that offers support groups, sober social events, and recovery coaching.
