Monster Mash 6 Hour Challenge
The Monster Mash 6 Hour Challenge is a timed running event held in Penistone along the Trans Pennine Trail. Participants run laps of a flat, approximately 6.55-mile course, completing as many laps as they can within six hours. The event welcomes runners aged 15 and over, with a maximum of 60 entrants.
Race headquarters is at Penistone Community Centre, offering parking, toilets, indoor baggage storage, and a well-stocked feed station. Runners receive a unique monster medal and goody bag regardless of distance completed. The event promotes a friendly atmosphere, encouraging running with friends and meeting new people.
