Monster Mash
Monster Mash is a community running event held in Batavia, Illinois at the Peg Bond Center on October 4, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and a kids dash for young children.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
- Kids Dash for ages 2 to 6
Registration is offered in Complete and Budget package options. Complete packages list a race shirt, finisher medal, and access to a food tent. Budget packages list a finisher medal and food tent and do not include a race shirt. Published registration prices vary by package and registration date.
Packet pickup is available on a pre-race day at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles and on race day at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia. Event photographs for 2026 are noted as available the day after the race.
Awards are given for the 5K and 10K. Both distances have top overall male and top overall female awards. Age group awards for the 5K include 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, then five-year bands from 20–24 through 75–79, and 80 and over. 10K age groups include 14 and under, 15–19, then ten-year bands from 20–29 through 70–79, and 80 and over.
