Location and Date
The Monster Mash takes place at the Peg Bond Center on North Island Avenue in Batavia, Illinois. The event date is Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are tiered. For the 5K, the fee is $45.99 until October 2, increasing to $51.49 on October 3-4. For the 10K, the fee is $51.49 until October 2, increasing to $56.99 on October 3-4. The Kids Race has a flat fee of $19.59.
Awards and Participant Items
Age group awards are given for both the 5K and 10K distances, with categories spanning from 10 & under to 80 & over. Top overall male and female finishers in each race are also recognized. All children in the Kids Dash receive a cotton race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and sunglasses.
Schedule and Logistics
Packet pickup is offered before race day on Thursday, October 1, at Dick Ponds in St. Charles from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. An update states that pre-race packet pickup on October 2 is from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Race day packet pickup and registration begins at 6:30 AM.
