Monster Dash Fun Run in Patterson
The Monster Dash Fun Run takes place October 24, 2026 at Otahki Lake KOA in Patterson, Missouri (1224 Wayne 318, Patterson, MO 63956, US). The event is a nighttime community run and walk over a 2 miles course through the front of the park.
The course follows packed gravel with minimal inclines. Organizers will use strobe lights and small path lights along many portions of the route, and there will be spooky decorations, sounds, and lights near the lake. The event does not include jump scares. Participants must wear a headlamp or carry a working flashlight and be able to complete the course within one hour.
Proceeds from the event will go to Care Camps Foundation, whose mission is "to give joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps." KOA is listed as a partner of Care Camps.
Event amenities noted by the organizer include a 2026 Monster Dash Fun Run t-shirt guaranteed for the first 35 participants, a participation medal, snacks and water, and trophies for the top three finishers.
