Monster Dash 5K
The Monster Dash 5K is a family friendly running event that includes a 5K and a kids fun run for children ages 10 and under. Participants may wear Halloween costumes; the event includes costume awards as well as age group awards.
Race services and amenities listed for participants include IPICO chip timing, a finisher medal, top overall and masters awards, five year age group awards, an aid station on the course, large mile markers, and post race food and beverages. Lil' Monsters kids run participants receive a shirt and a Lil' Monster medal. 5K participants can add a race shirt for an additional fee.
Registration fees are non refundable. Fees listed for the in person 5K vary by registration date, and a virtual 5K option is offered that includes shipping, a shirt, and a medal. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at KC Running Company and leftover packets are available on race morning at the race site.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female, top masters male and female, and first through third places in the specified age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 plus.
