Monster Dash 5K
The Monster Dash 5K is a family friendly event that includes a 5K race and a kids fun run for children ages 10 and under. The event encourages participants to wear Halloween costumes and includes a costume contest held before the 5K.
Race services include IPICO chip timing, a finisher's medal, an aid station on the course, large mile markers, and post-race food and beverages. Lil' Monsters Kids Run participants receive a shirt and a Lil' Monster medal. 5K participants may add a race shirt for $7.

Race information lists the event date as October 25, 2025, and the location as South Creek Office Park, 7200 W. 132nd Street, Overland Park, KS. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 24 at The Running Well Store; leftover packets will be available at the race site on race morning. All registration fees are non refundable.
Registration fees for the 5K vary by registration period: $28 (8/7–9/7), $31 (9/8–9/28), $34 (9/29–10/23), and $37 after 10/23. Virtual 5K (shipping, shirt, and medal included) is $44 through 10/25. Kids Run fees are $12 through 10/23 and $15 after 10/23.
Awards are given to top overall male and female, top masters male and female (40+), and first through third in multiple age groups from 10 & under up to 80+.
