2026 Monroe Milk Run

The 2026 Monroe Milk Run marks the 40th annual edition of this event, held as part of the Pioneer Day celebration in Monroe, Utah. Organized by the South Sevier High School Track and Field Team, the event commemorates the local history of farming and dairies. All proceeds from the race directly support the high school track and field program.

Participants can choose from several distances:

  • 5 Mile Run
  • 5K Run
  • 1 Mile Kids Run
  • 1 Block Sprint

The 5 mile course follows a route through local fields, passing sites where seven dairies once operated. The 5K route focuses on the southern portion of the city. For younger participants, the 1 mile kids run provides an opportunity for involvement, followed by a 1 block sprint to determine the fastest overall male and female runners.

Every race starts and finishes at the Monroe City Lions Park on Main Street. Registration includes a t-shirt with the entry fee. Bib pick-up and in-person registration assistance are available at the park during the community event on the evening of July 23rd or early on the morning of July 24th. Registrations are not accepted after the specified morning cutoff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
