Clear Creek Half Marathon : Sevier, Utah
The event is a point to point road race held on May 16, 2026 in the Clear Creek Canyon area near Sevier, Utah. Distances offered include a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K.
The half marathon starts near I-70 exit 7 and descends about 1300 feet from roughly 7000 ft to about 5612 ft at the finish. The course follows Clear Creek Canyon Road beside a creek and through steep canyon cliffs, passing features of the Fremont Indian park including newspaper rock, cave of 100 hands, Indian blanket, and the sheep shelter cave. The finish area is near 500 W Clear Creek Canyon Road, about 1/4 mile from Highway 89, with a marked turn onto Road 476 that parallels the freeway.
Aid stations are positioned along the route at miles 2.25, 4, 6, 8.5, 10.5 and 11.8; water is available at all stations and Gatorade is provided at several locations. Portable toilets are located at several aid locations and other restrooms are available near mile 9.25. A shuttle service runs between the finish area and the starting line; participants may also be dropped off.
Additional logistics note that packet pickup is organized at Richfield City Park and parking for spectators is available north of the finish area on Clear Creek Canyon Road. All participants receive a race shirt and medals are awarded to finishers; overall prizes are given to the top three men and top three women.
