Monarch Fund 5K Run/Walk
The Monarch Fund 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held at the Harriet Island Pavilion along the Mississippi River in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The event uses a certified 5K course (Certification Code MN18048RR) with start and finish near the pavilion and is chip timed.
Race services include packet pickup and race day registration at the pavilion. There is one water station located near the turnaround around mile 2. Dogs and pets are not permitted on the course except for service animals. A number of parking lots are located on Harriet Island near the pavilion.

Awards and fundraising details are part of the event. Prize money is awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers with amounts of $200, $150, and $100. Five year age division awards are given three deep for male and female participants, and first place masters, grandmasters, and super grandmasters male and female receive additional awards. A special award is presented for the best age graded performance. All race proceeds benefit the Rene and Brian McCoy Cancer Recovery Research Monarch Fund at Hamline University.
