Moms Rock 5K & 1 Mile
Moms Rock is an established Mother's Day tradition held in Northeastern Ohio. The event takes place at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, located at 3900 Wildlife Way in Cleveland. This athletic gathering is designed to honor mothers through various running and walking distances.
The event offers several participation options to accommodate different ages and preferences:
- 5K Run & Walk
- 5K Stroller Division (also referred to as the Cub Carrier 5K)
- 1 Mile Walk (also referred to as the Turtle Trek)
- b.a. Sweetie Candy Company Kids Dash (50 meters, for ages 8 and under)
Parking is available on-site at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Participants are advised that local construction may require parking some distance from the main zoo entrance. Early packet pickup is available on specific dates prior to the race, and race-day pickup is also provided for participants who arrive early.
Participants can pick up materials for others by presenting a confirmation email. For groups of five or more, pre-packing services can be arranged in advance via email to expedite the process. The 5K event is chip-timed, and various awards are presented following the races. Spectator registration is also available for those who wish to attend without participating in the athletic events.
